Review by hotel critic
Nestled in the picturesque village of Les Houches, Les Granges D'En Haut is a delightful retreat perfect for a romantic escape. The blend of luxury and nature here is truly enchanting, with our private chalet featuring stunning mountain views that created a magical backdrop for our evenings. We indulged in the Deep Nature Spa, which offered rejuvenating treatments that made us forget the world outside – absolute bliss! The restaurant, despite being shut on Mondays and Tuesdays, served us delightful breakfasts with traditional Savoyard recipes that set the stage for our day. The concept of having a panoramic bar with incredible views of Mont-Blanc was a highlight; however, be sure to check availability as it can get quite crowded. While I do wish the location had better access to the ski lifts without a car, the charm of the resort made up for it. This experience of combining charm, comfort, and breathtaking views is highly recommended for those looking to unwind and reconnect in the heart of the Alps.
